PLEASE NOTE Beginning 01 October 2008, drivers in France will be fined if they have not equipped themselves with safety jackets and a warning triangle.
Warning triangles must be placed on the road surface at least 30 metres from the obstacle.
Safety jackets must be worn BEFORE exiting the vehicle which has to be stationery either on the hard shoulder or the side of the road.
