Country Hideaways is a small, family-run holiday cottage agency, established since 1988, offering first class self-catering holiday accommodation in this beautiful and welcoming part of Yorkshire.

Our properties are individual in style but carefully selected for quality, comfort and stunning location, all equipped and maintained to the highest standards.
We have unique watermill apartments, elegant houses and cosy cottages. Many of of the properties accept dogs.

The Yorkshire Dales has over 1200 miles of well-maintained footpaths to enjoy, in one of the most varied and spectacular landscapes in Britain. Some 680 square miles of the countryside has been protected as a National Park since 1954. Waterfalls, peaks and heather moors, dry stone walls and tree lined meadows, abbeys, castles and stately homes, make this area a pleasure
to explore.

Five lovely self-catering cottages (four of them
dog-friendly) offering accomodation for between two and seven guests.

Located in Three Peaks country on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the cottages are close to the village of Ingleton but within easy reach of the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.

The cottages are set in six acres of beautiful open countryside, with superb panoramic views, especially dramatic in winter.

The area is renowned for its excellent walking, including the famous Ingleton Waterfalls walk. The hosts are pleased to share their extensive local knowledge and walkingweeks or weekends can be organised for groups in the spring and autumn.

Three pubs and a general store are within walking distance in the two adjacent villages, while outdoor shops, cafes and pubs can be found in the close-by village of Ingleton.
