This 250 year old cottage nestles in a sleepy backwater close to the centre of Cromford and offers a “get away from it all” environment, yet it has easy access to all local amenities. Sleeping up to 6 people and offering all the usual home facilities it provides the ideal base for you to choose what you want to do, be it simply relaxing or taking part in the numerous activities the Peak District
has to offer.

The cottage forms part of the historic conservation area and sits amongst old farm buildings, the old jail house and overlooks the sough. A spacious living room which has 2 three seater settees, TV, DVD and linked stereo system. A range of videos, DVD’s and CD’s are available to use during your stay.

There are 2 well furnished bedrooms, one with a double bed and a larger bedroom that has 4 single beds. Bed linen is provided for your stay.

A fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer complete with a comprehensive set of crockery, cutlery and utensils allows for the cooking of a quick snack or a full meal. The dining room is large enough for a family of six to eat comfortably. The bathroom has a shower, W.C. sink, large mirror and a shaving point, towels are also included.

This lovely cottage is full of character and has marvellous views in all directions across rolling limestone hills.
The Peak District offers a variety of walking in all sorts of countryside; moorland, valleys and limestone dales
cover the area and there are many walking and cycling trails. Other visitor attractions include houses, ancient monuments and castles and the towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Ashbourne.
