This pet friendly, compact, stone, terraced cottage in Castleton is located in a quiet back lane with walks on and off road for you and your dog right from the doorstep. The oak-beamed cottage sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin room. It is well-equipped and ideal for walkers with a powerful shower and tumble drier. There is no extra charge for your pets. Gas and electricity are included and bedding and towels provided.
Within Hope Valley in the Peak District National Park, Castleton is home to Peveril Castle and the Blue John mines and caverns. Nearby walks include Mam Tor and the Great Ridge and a little further afield Kinder Scout and the Ladybower and Derwent Reservoirs. Chatsworth, Lyme Park and Haddon Hall are within 16 miles drive.

Retaining many original features, the cottage offers spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to seven people, and forms the perfect base for couples, friends and families to explore the Peak District National Park.

Recently renovated to a high standard and well-equipped, the cottage provides everything you will need to enjoy your holiday.
All the village's amenities are located within a short walk. There is on-road parking opposite the cottage and we happily accept dogs.

Six luxury self-catering holiday cottages within the beautiful Peak District National Park
Alstonefield is located just inside Staffordshire with the Derbyshire border immediately to the east of the village following the course of the River Dove. We are about two miles to the north of the attractive village of Alstonefield, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The cottages are fitted out to a high standard. Kitchens are complete with electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, fully fitted cupboards, dining table, and have all the cutlery and crockery you will need. The sitting / lounge areas have ample seating including a sofa bed, TV, DVD, Freesat and Video. Bedrooms have standard size double bed or single beds, pine chest of draws and wardrobes, CD alarm clock radios. The main bathrooms have a shower over the bath, hand basin and wc. All cottages have central heating and constant hot water and we accept two dogs in each. Children are welcome. We are open all year and acccept Short Breaks. Ash and Beech Cottages both have an open coal fire for those winter, romantic evenings, and a four poster bed.

Set in 44 acres of stunning woodland in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, this is the perfect base from which to explore the Peak District.

Recently converted, the style is clean, modern and cosy. The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor in a single open-plan space with three beautiful picture-windows.

Overbrook Barn is part of a beautiful 18th century farm in a quiet valley in the south-west corner of the Peak District National Park.

Overbrook accommodates eight in four double or twin bedrooms, all with TV/DVD and bed linen and towels provided. There is a log-burning stove, telephone, and free wireless broadband. We have young children ourselves, and yours are very welcome. Overbrook has its own lit, gated garden, which is secure for children, and our access road
is very quiet.

Situated in the centre of a network of footpaths and bridleways, the area offers some of the best walking and riding in the country. There is a great range of excellent dog walking from the doorstep, and plenty of room on farm for off-the-lead running around. There is a huge amount to do locally, along with super eating and drinking.
