The Slap Cottage is an attractive single storey, 1800 Orkney croft house with flagstone floors and beams open to the roof. Set in six acres of working croft land overlooking Scapa Flow, Churchill Barriers and the island of Copinsay, the views are wonderful. There is a double bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the lounge, an open fire, well-equipped kitchen
and bathroom with power-shower.

This sleeps four to six people in a double bedroom, twin bedroom with a pull-down small bunk, and the living room, which can sleep two. It has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bathroom with shower. There is also a decking area, barbeque, and parking.
The village, which is five minutes' walk away, has a shop and hotel with restaurant. The town of Kirkwall is 11 miles away for more shops, pubs and recreational facilities.
There are long, sandy beaches to enjoy and
a golf course at St Margarets Hope.
