Located in the picturesque fishing town of Whitby, Estuary View Cottage is situated in a quiet location, 
less than ten minutes easy walk from the town centre. 
This dog friendly cottage sleeps four, with a downstairs twin bedroom and adjacent WC, and main bedroom upstairs with King-Size double bed. In the lounge there is a dining area with table and four chairs. Leading off from the lounge is the well equipped kitchen and utility room.  
There is no charge for dogs and the rear area is dog safe.
The front of the house and the upper bedroom window look out onto the River Esk and Whitby boating marina. Alongside the river is the railway line which passes through the Esk Valley to Grosmont where classic steam trains take you on the 18 mile scenic journey to Pickering. The maritime town of Whitby, with its old cobbled streets and sandy blue flag beach, 
is set among fine stretches of coast with spectacular cliffs and bays.  The world famous 199 steps lead down from the Abbey to the old town where you will find a selection of unique shops.

Hen House Cottage is in the little moorland village of Gillamoor, 3 miles from Kirkbymoorside and 7 miles from Pickering, on the southern side of the North York Moors National Park. The pet friendly cottage is thoughtfully laid out, beautifully furnished and decorated in a mix of modern and traditional colours and textiles, with original artworks by local artists.
There are 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and the other with an adjacent shower room.
This is a very comfortable, cosy cottage with central-heating and a wood-burning stove. The French doors open onto a patio and secluded, gated garden with glorious views over the moors.
There are some excellent moorland walks from the village and the owners have compiled a list of dog walks in the surrounding area. There are also maps and books for guests to use.
The village pub is a short walk and serves delicious bar meals. Fadmoor, only 15 minutes walk away, has a prize-winning organic farm shop and Kirkbymoorside has a good selection of shops and cafes.
