Golf Cottage is a traditional, detached Victorian cottage which
retains many of its period features including an open fire; situated
in Elie, a delightful village by the sea in the East Neuk of Fife,
10 miles from St Andrews and one hour from Edinburgh. The self-catering
property, with its lovely open fire, is tucked away and sits within
its own private fully bound walled gardens which, in the summer
time, gets the sun all day.
The cottage is perfectly located for
golf courses (there are 30 within a 15 mile radius and two are
just next door!) and it is a 1 minute walk to the lovely stretch
of golden, sandy Elie Beach. There are numerous pubs and restaurants
(to suit all budgets) a walk away and so much to see and do in
this beautiful part of Scotland. Once the cottage is booked, a
welcome folder is sent out so you can start planning your stay
before you arrive.

Gardeners Cottage sleeps 2-4, set out on one level this is a rural retreat backing onto the walled garden. The cottage features a lounge with open fire and a large kitchen/dining area. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds. There is a modern bathroom with a shower and separate toilet. Helena Cottage is a detached 2 bedroom cottage situated in the picturesque seaside village of Elie (near St Andrews). Recently refurbished to an exacting standard it has an open plan living room/kitchen/diner with solid oak flooring and wall mounted flatscreen tv with digital freeview channels.
Patio doors open on to the courtyard garden which is a real sun trap. There is garden furniture to sit and enjoy the typical Elie sunny weather. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, washing machine/tumble drier, CD player. There is a contemporary shower room and a double bedroom leading through to a twin bedroom. A small store houses the central heating boiler. There is so much to do in Elie - sandy beaches, coastal walks, golf, tennis, putting, bowling, Water Sports Centre, bike hire. There are also fabulous local restaurants, cafes and quaint pubs with beer gardens. Many of our guests return year after year. |
