CROSS KEYS HOTEL
HIGH STREET
NEW GALLOWAY
DG7 3RN
dog friendly Cross Keys hotel

The Cross Keys Hotel is a 280 year old Coaching Inn in the heart of New Galloway. It has 10 en-suite bedrooms,
a traditional bar and an excellent `local produce` restaurant. We positively welcome dogs providing they are people and other dog friendly. The hotel and bar area are open to dogs, and our own dog Oscar is a great host
and shares his bisuits quite willingly!!!
Set in an area of beautiful Lochs, forests and unspoilt countryside ideal for fishing, walking, golf,
and many other outdoor pursuits. New Galloway is famous for being Scotlands smallest Royal Burgh and
for its natural beauty. This is perfect walking country for dogs and owners with walks from the hotel and further afield, ranging from easy strolls to more strenuous hikes. From the challenging uplands of the Galloway Hills to gentle seaside trails, moors and dramatic cliff-top walks, the Southern Upland Way presents the ideal focus from which to enjoy the many and varied shorter walks within the region.

Nith Riverside Cottages

Hotel and Self-catering Cottages in an unspoilt
corner of Scotland

Blackaddie Country House Hotel stands within two acres of secluded gardens on the banks of the river Nith with extensive views across Scotland’s Southern Upland Way. There are nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms, all of which overlook aspects of the gardens or the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway.
This is a family run hotel combining high standards of personal care with friendly informality and fantastic food. The restaurant serves some of the best meals to be found in Scotland, using fresh, local produce and the menu in our cosy bar is available very day for more traditional food.

We have 3 beautiful stone cottages, imaginatively converted from a traditional barn and stables. In an idyllic setting on the banks of the River Nith and with lovely views of the peaceful surrounding countryside, they offer a perfect base for exploring the Border Country.

Not only do we offer a pet friendly hotel and cottages, but we welcome our four legged friends as much as we do their two legged partners. With lots of walks in the area and the welcome pack each dog receives this is the perfect dog friendly holiday destination.
