Crockshard is a large, grade II listed country house surrounded by attractive gardens and set in quiet rural countryside. It is ideally located for visiting any part of Kent or Northern France, including Canterbury which is only 10 minutes drive away, Dover and the Channel crossings, just 20 minutes' drive away.

The six guest bedrooms are comfortably furnished and restored to maintain a country house feel.
Breakfast is served in the large farmhouse kitchen with home produced bread, jams and eggs. We have a selection of farm animals, including pigs, a goat and a pony. This is an area with a wealth of visitor attractions and places to visit with beaches, stately homes, castle, gardens and unique towns and attractive villages.

Situated on top of the North Downs in an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Bowl Inn is a 16th century country pub with a large, welcoming inglenook fireplace. There is an extensive rural garden and south-facing front sun terrace, which is covered and heated on those more typical English summer days!

The Bowl offers traditional English pub fare, including Kent cured ham, Kentish sausages, and has regular speciality dining nights, wherever possible using locally sourced ingredients. The Inn has five en-suite rooms, one of which is on the ground floor for dog owners and has an adjacent garden. There are also facilities for camping. Charing is a small village situated at the foot of the North Downs and the Pilgrims Way crosses the village.

Elvey Farm is a traditional open hall house, built in 1406. It is located in the hamlet of Mundy Bois, just outside Pluckley in Kent. The farm is set in 75 acres, at the end of a winding lane, and as far as the eye can see there are fields, orchards and hills. Elvey has been renovated to the highest standards and offers comfort and a friendly, personal service.

Kent has some stunning coutryside and many walking opportunities,including the North Downs Way,
the Pilgrims Way and a number of coastal walks. Some of Kent's well known attractions are also within easy reach,
such as Leeds Castle, Whitstable and Canterbury.
