Bruach Ard is situated above the village of Inverasdale overlooking loch Ewe, with views out to sea the Sutherland Hills. There is a public slipway opposite the entrance drive to Bruach Ard. This dog friendly, family run bed and breakfast has two doubles and one twin room, all en-suite, a lounge and a dining room which overlook the Loch. We offer full cooked or continental breakfast, and home baking using fresh local produce where possible. Packed lunches are also available.

For walkers and climbers, An Teallach, widely regarded as one of the most impressive mountain massifs in Britain, is about 45 minutes drive, and the Torridon mountains about an hour. A track leads directly from Poolewe into the `Great Wilderness` of the Letterewe and Fisherfield forests. There are superb coastal walks with cliffs, caves and waterfalls to explore. The village is an excellent base from which to enjoy the attractions of Wester Ross, notably hill and cliff walking, bird watching, sailing, fishing and marine life. There are several stunning, unspoilt sandy beaches within easy driving distance, the nearest is at Firemore about two and a half miles away.
