White Hart Royal Hotel, pet friendly Moreton in Marsh

The White Hart Royal is a wonderful example of a typical 17th century English coaching inn. In 1644 King Charles I took refuge here during the Civil War. The hotel has many lovely original features such as old stone walls, exposed beams and an unusual cobblestone entrance hall. Situated in the centre of the Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh it has been beautifully furnished throughout to maintain its old world charm while offering guests 21st century facilities.

You can dine in the Courtyard Restaurant, al fresco in the courtyard or enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Snug Bar with its stone-flagged floor and large Inglenook fireplace. Meals are prepared using fresh local ingredients to produce cuisine that is contemporary English, a la carte or traditional pub classic.

The hotel has several ground floor rooms that are available for dogs, some with private gardens, and they are allowed
in the snug bar and lounges but not the restaurant.
