The Bankes Hotel, originally built in 1549, is situated in the heart of the Isle of Purberk, Dorset. We are ideally based for visiting local sites and travelling further afield to places such as Swanage, Bournemouth, Poole,
Wareham and Weymouth. The small village of Studland is famous for its beaches and Nature Reserve,
and is only 5 miles away.

We have 10 rooms available, including single and double, and a full A la Carte restaurant specialising in fresh fish, game and traditional English dishes as well as a range of hot and cold bar snacks.

Dorset is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt counties in England,
and the Dorset Coast Path and Purbeck Ridgeway are two of its popular walks.
