A historic hotel and restaurant, in a lovely position at the waters edge of the Leven Estuary.

The Bay Horse Hotel was once a staging post for coaches that crossed the sands of Morecambe Bay to Lancaster in the 18th Century. The hotel stands at the waters edge of the Leven Estuary, commanding views of both the Lancashire and Cumbrian fells.
There are nine en-suite bedrooms, six of which have French windows out onto a terrace. All are individually decorated and furnished with the facilities one would expect and the benefit of free WiFi/Broadband access.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with the aim of making guests feel welcome and relaxed.

The market town of Ulverston marks the start of the Cumbria Way and offers visitors a number of attractions, including golf, riding and gardens to visit. It has a good range of shops and restaurants, and Lancashire and the Lake District are on the doorstep.
