Sympathetically and completely modernised while losing none of its old world charm, the cottage has exposed beams and stained wood doors throughout and slab slate floors in the dining room and kitchen. Both dining room and sitting room have open inglenook fireplaces (with cloam ovens) housing multifuel stoves. There are three double bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room plus a downstairs lavatory.

The garden has been fenced completely with 4ft chain-link fencing and the run behind the cottage has 6ft deer fencing around it. There is no extra charge for four pets.

The local village of Blisland is only half a mile away with an excellent pub that welcomes dogs, a new general store,
Post Office and Church.

Sailing, golf, fishing, cycling and horse riding are all available locally and visitors can enjoy country walks, beautiful beaches or fishing and sailing at Fowey.
