Penkerris is an enchanting Edwardian residence surrounded by lovely lawned gardens, and situated in the unspoiled Cornish village of St Agnes, with its good choice of shops and pubs. There are 9 comfortable guest rooms, some en-suite and all with modern facilities. The bright and cosy lounge has a log fire for the winter months, and breakfast includes freshly baked bread from the village bakery and our butcher's home-made sausages. We have a liquor licence and can supply wine to have with dinner or beers to drink in the garden.

St Agnes, which is well-placed for touring Cornwall, has dramatic cliff walks, beautiful beaches and excellent surfing on the doorstep. There are three beaches at St Agnes and Chapel Porth (shown above) is one of the best in Europe, Trevaunance Cove is good for surfing while Trevellas Cove offers total relaxation. The area is steeped in the history of Cornwall's tin and copper mining. St Agnes is only an hour from Lands End, St Michaels Mount, Tintagel and the Eden Project,
and just 8 miles from Truro.
