The Garden Cabin provides a lovely peaceful retreat tucked away in a private corner of the owner's garden. It consists of a comfortable and open living area, compact kitchen, shower room and a bedroom with kingsized bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room which can provide space for 2 more people but the cabin is perfect for 2. There is off road parking and space to store bikes. Leading from the sitting room you look out onto your own decked area, surrounded by plants and with a lovely covered seating spot which is enclosed by beautiful gardens. From your bedroom there are double doors which give access onto a private and secluded courtyard. There are a number of farm shops close-by, larger stores in Ipswich and the famous 'Jimmy's Farm' a short drive away and the accommodation is also handy for Trinity Park.
Being only a short walk from the waterside edge of Alton Water, a large man-made and naturalised lake, provides visitors with walks and bike rides, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and permit fishing. This is perfect for dogs and you can walk right round the lake, if you have the time, with a circumference of over 8 miles (13 km).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, a relaxing place with warm hospitality in a peaceful private
location - particularly after an uncomfortable and tiring drive along the M20 and Dartford Tunnel. The dogs loved the walking and being able to access open countryside, woodland and water without needing to get in the car was a real bonus. Knowing that they were secure in our own outside space was also reassuring, this is one of the best pet friendly places we have stayed and they accept more than one dog.
Conveniently located around 1 hour from Cambridge, 45 minutes Harwich (ferries to Europe) and 1 hour from Stansted airport. Half day trips will take you to Southwold, Aldeburgh, Orford and many other well known coastal beauty spots.
